Weed can be measured in all sorts of ways. Which can be good or bad for you the consumer. Look we get it math may not have been your best subject but that damn math teach was right you will use this stuff... one-day. Let's get into measuring.
Below is a breakdown of the most common weed measurements and what you need to know about each.
While there are larger quantities of marijuana such as pounds or kilos, from a cannabis enthusiast such as yourself everything is based on the ounce.
Eights - An eighth of an ounce is roughly 3.5 grams.
Quarters - Is equal to two-eighths or 7grams.
Half Ounce - One-half ounce of weed is equal to 14 grams.
Ounce - 28 grams, needless to say, this can be a lot of weed. In Oklahoma prices of ounces cost anywhere from $150 to well over $300, depending on the quality of the product.
Pound - A pound of weed contains 16 ounces of cannabis. Just as within ounces, buyers can also purchase quarter and half-pound measurements.

Whenever you purchase raw flower make sure that the budtender is weighing it out in front of you, every dispensary has a digital scale for weighing cannabis. If you are buying prepackages just make sure to weigh it when you get home and account for the jar or packaging that your flower is in if there is a difference in the numbers simply let the dispensary know and they most of the time will make it right.
