Guthrie (KOKH) - There is a medical marijuana grow operation near Guthrie that is being investigated by Logan County Sheriff’s office. The medical marijuana is licensed but is being sold on the Black Market, reports say.

Mark Woodward, Spokesperson for the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, said that they are possibly seizing 10,000-15,000 plants that are in approximately 15 greenhouses in the property. This includes 60-100 pounds of finished product which are all ready for sale. Investigations said that these are being sold on the streets and ending in the black market directly from the farm. Woodward believed that these are criminals and that they operate a criminal organization. In line with this, they have detained 10 people. One of them was from China and it required an interpreter to interview them.

It’s a pressing concern as some Oklahomans try to make a decent living via the state's Medical Marijuana industry while these people find different ways to profit around them.

It hurts people who try to do it right, Woodward added. He promised to go after anybody who feels that Oklahoma laws do not apply to them.

As of the moment, no arrests have been made but officials are anticipating change.
